(Not-So) Hot Lady Track of the Week: Usher and Will.i.am 's "OMG"

Thank you, Usher, for providing us yet again with such a charming gem of a song that really builds women up.
Yeah, right.
This time around, in "OMG," Usher and his pal Will.i.am provide us with a beautiful rendition on just what makes the guys say, "Wow." You know, a great booty, beautiful boobies and wonderful style. It's enough to make them want to love you--well, almost enough.
You also need to be able to pop and lock it on the dance floor, and hitting on the men before they approach you scores you extra points.
So, if you do all this, Usher will "love you down" and "break you down". What a privilege, eh?
Of course, the music video features plenty of ladies with great, um, assets, who dance around Usher like the harem he seems to think he deserves. The video also rips off Usher's own clip for "Yeah!," one of his biggest hits. Maybe he realizes his lyrics suck, and recreating the past is an easy way to stay in the game. Plus, Will.i.am rips off his own sample ("Let the beat drop") from the Black Eyed Peas song "Boom Boom Pow". Where is the originality in this track?
And what is with the title? It looks like Usher and Will.i.am are trying to capitalize on the social media age, but the title is silly and inappropriate, considering the message of the song. Can you imagine 10-year-old girls Googling "omg" and coming up with this?
There basically isn't much more to the song besides Usher and Will.i.am repeating, "Oh my gosh" over and over. It's a weird juxtaposition of innocence and creepiness, especially when the all-guys chorus comes in to back the duo up. Definitely not a group I'd want my boyfriend to sing along to.
