Well, if the Olympics didn't supply enough emotional outpouring, competition and inspiration for you, you really just needed to watch this last Celebrity Fit Club. Oh, and Tool Academy. And The Real World. And Celebrity Rehab.
K, so maybe on those telecasts there were no medals to be earned, but damn, there was some crying, a little bit of sporting and a whole lot of drama.
First, of all, and forgive me if I'm missing something, but I've never seen anyone--ANYONE--react to a group challenge like Tanisha (The Bad Girls Club) during the bizarre prison break/running-from-dogs group challenge Harvey had the Fit Clubbers involved in. Aside from the fact that they were shackled together, had to bust down a "door," tunnel through a passage a la Andy Dufresne and then break the locks off their ankles, the castmates had to run from trained guard dogs. Um, what?! (And yes, they were muzzled and yes, Bobby Brown faced his fear of dogs, but I'm guessing the activity didn't really make him want to go pet-shopping.)
Anyway, Tanisha's team (which includes Sebastian Bach, my current favorite, the High School Musical chick and K-Fed) was actually doing pretty well. They made good time and won the challenge, but Kevin wasn't able to get up the ladder or into the protective cage (the two options for the last contestant on the ground when the dogs came). So, naturally (um, no), she reacted like this:
And the crying and sobbing and tragically unflattering faces continued with Tool Academy when they showed Bandana Tool's girlfriend footage of BT cheating ...
