Rage away, grannies, rage away!

The big game is coming up, you guys! Do you have your wing recipes ready? Your beer fridge stocked? Your ears perked up so that you can hear Tim Tebow and his mom get preachy, courtesy of CBS and Focus on the Family, about your right to choose? Yes? You are so well prepared!
While my own outrage here on HD has focused on the supreme asshattery of Tebow, we haven't yet done much talking about the hypocritical action on CBS' part of running the ad to begin with. But, instead of me talking about it, I decided it'll be better for all of us if we sing about it. So, here are some South Floridian Raging Grannies, a group of silver-haired activist ladies who have some thoughts (okay, one in particular) about what CBS stands for:
The Raging Grannies are an international activist organization whose mission is "promoting peace, justice, social and economic equality through song and humor." And they do an awful lot of it, by the looks of this YouTube search. It's highly and awesomely subversive, per the website:
The delights of grannying include: dressing like innocent little old ladies so we can get close to our 'target', writing songs from old favourites that skewer modern wrongs, satirizing evil-doing in public and getting everyone singing about it, watching a wrong back down and turn tail and run, sharing a history with other women who know who they are and what they're about. Grannying is the least understood yet most powerful weapon we have. Sometimes, looking back, we can see grannying was the only thing that could have met the need.Activist stealth grannies! I can't get over how cool this is, you guys, seriously. Their anger at CBS is righteous and funny. Hat tip--big, wide-brimmed gardening hat-tip--to the grans.
