I just rounded up another semester of graduate school, and I am ready for a really long nap. And a drink. Can someone rig up some kind of whiskey pillow?

Here's what happened in ladyness this week:

  • So much James Franco on General Hospital, so little time for repeated, indulgent masturbation. [Jezebel]
  • After releasing issue with K-Fed on the cover, Details editor claims, with presumably straight face, that women's mags are far inferior to men's mags. Related: [MediaBistro]
  • I saw "bar falls" instead of "bar fails." Good article, but now I really want to see some drunken faceplants. [CollegeCandy]
  • Alexa Chung's actual music-related MTV show has been canceled. Will someone remind me what the "M" in that acronym stands for, again? [Hollywire]
  • Why are there so few women at the center of sex scandals? I don't know, but I plan to help remedy this situation with haste once I become prominent, famous and irresistible. [Pandagon]
  • Michelle Duggar had another, super-premature, kid via c-section after extensive complications. No, Duggars, god is not trying to tell you anything. Keep on keepin' on. [Broadsheet]
  • AWESOME SCARVES. [The Frisky]
  • Going gaga over gay Gaga. [Bitch]

I'm willing to believe that most women's mags are inferior to just about anything. Ads, fashion, ads, How To Please Your Man, ads, makeup, ads, Performing Heteronormative Femininity In A Really Vapid Way... guh. Sorry about the rant.

BUST is great, but was even better before they became obsessed with knitting.
