Afternoon, everyone.  Can you believe it's already almost July?  Try and forget about the fact that summer's already a third over by looking at some current events.

Good news! The vibrator's becoming mainstream! (NYT)  According to the article, they're even available now at Wal-Marts and Seven-Elevens. I never thought purchasing skin lotion and Kleenex would seem MORE subtle.

A new iPhone app from AshleyMadison.com is helping couples cheat (TIME).  Yes, yes.  Let's blame the technology and not the adulterers.

Lynn Rosenthal has been appointed to the new position of White House adviser on Violence Against Women (ABC News).  Depressing title, but another thumbs-up for the Obama administration.

A new study links reckless teen behavior with the pessimistic belief of dying young (Forbes), Which is so weird because the rest of us foresee the human race surviving for centuries, right?

Remember 10 Things I Hate About You?  You know, that movie from ten years ago that was kinda popular?  Now it's gonna be a TV series!  (NYT)  Soon to be followed by Varsity Blues: The Musical and Can't Hardly Wait: The Video Game.

I can't say I've ever seen a vibrator at a Walmart or a 7-11, but I would think that everyone would know already that they are more mainstream. I'm a senior in college and have been invited to many home sex toy parties, which are just like Tupperware parties, only with vibrators and other erotic materials. There was even one hosted in my dormitory by a co-ed honors fraternity.
