It's a sports commercial. There's beer, a hot girl, and violence. What there isn't: boobs, objectification, bad pop music.
Hooray!
No, there's nothing especially feminist about this commercial, but what I like is that there's nothing especially antifeminist about this commercial, which is unusual in the world of sports marketing--especially when booze (however liminal) is involved. Here we have a nice, cute girl in a Canadiens jersey, and all she wants is a pint with her Bruins-lovin' date at the hockey game. Nobody's makin' a big deal about it.
The best part? The Bruins mascot, Blades, and his incredibly awesome stare.
