The ever-watchful editors of Refinery 29 spotted a number of fashionable Swedish vixens parading around town during Stockholm Fashion Week rocking variations of the girly faux-hawk, model-style. Back in my own goth-girl days, quite a few of my The Crow-worshiping pals opted into the partial-buzz-cut look, which would reveal itself only when they pulled their hair back into a ponytail.

Since the hipster dudes co-opted the faux-hawk trend ages ago, it seems natural that the Scandanavian ladies would be reviving it now. The question is, would you?

I'm a bit more inspired by this young Parisian woman, new on The Sartorialist today. She's got the schoolboy Dead Poets Society androgyny thing going -- and her hair, while messily tied back, is still unquestionably feminine. Although, if that ponytail were hiked up a bit higher, her hair could very well be shaved underneath...
