Today, Heartless Dolls, we are perplexed:

* Tyra Banks has decided to make Cycle 13 of America's Next Top Model short-girl friendly. According to EW's Popwatch -- they interviewed casting director Michelle Mock-Falcon -- she's willing to give 5'9"s and unders a shot at the open auditions: "Kate Moss is a prime example," she says. "Tyra knows a stream of supermodels that are under that size and are very successful, so she said, 'Why not?' It's gonna be all about the face and the package as a whole."

* Drew Barrymore is among a handful of candidates being considered to direct the third film in the Twilight franchise, Eclipse. This cannot happen.

* Diesel is apparently going to debut a furniture line in April.

* Wildly polarizing Food Network host Rachael Ray is hosting a SXSW showcase that will feature as the Hold Steady, Ra Ra Riot, and the New York Dolls.

* Our beloved Tim Gunn has a celebrity couple crush. Even though he was, for all intents and purposes, snubbed by Brangelina on the Oscar red carpet, Gunn gushed to US Weekly, noting that the couple was "stunning," "delightful," and full of a synergy that he found "touching."

The ANTM oddness is easy enough to explain. They finally decided not to kick off the plus size girl until the last minute and - oops - she kicked butt and won.

Now they have to find some other type of model underdog to let on the show, only to be booted off early. Then one day they'll let the short girl win and they'll have to find models with 12 fingers or something.

I find the notion of Drew Barrymore directing Eclipse to be hilarious. And why can't it happen? You're not actually expecting it to be a GOOD movie, are you?
