There is such a thing as a Chanel Segway

When Dean Kamen unveiled his two-wheeled, self-balancing vehicle to the public in 2001, he probably didn't expect to see it get a couture makeover eight years later. But lo! The house of Chanel has customized its own version of the Segway. The Coco-approved model will come with a classic Chanel 2.55 handbag adorning the handlebars. (We're not sure if it can be removed, but that would be nice.) It also features quilted handgrips, black leather mudflaps, and is slapped with iconic double-C logos everywhere it counts. Price is to be determined. Assume the only people who can afford to purchase one are the Olsen twins.

Regardless, we would probably give anything to see Karl Lagerfeld on one of these road-ragers during Fashion Week. Couldn't you just imagine him tooling around Lincoln Center's Damrosch Park on the Chanel Segway at an easy 12 mph clip, his white hair whipping in the mini-breeze, and waving a bedazzled gloved hand in the air like he just don't care?
