Remember when everyone thought Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were having an affair during the filming of Mr. & Mrs. Smith? And they denied it? But then Brad dumped Jen, leaving her to fend for herself amidst the douchey come-ons of O-face-making John Mayer? And then Angie said something about how she and Brad fell in love on the set of their movie, and how when their kids grow up, they'll get to watch it happen live, basically? Which pissed off Jen, and prompted her to call out Angie for being "really uncool" in Vanity Fair?

Phew! Well now, we're right back on track!

Brad Pitt, in the forthcoming February issue of W magazine, defends the resulting shitstorm that came with the shocking revelation that he and his pseudo-wifey were getting their slam on while he was still technically married to Jen. See, they were still filming Mr. & Mrs. Smith for a year after he and Jen called it quits! So it's all good! The fuss is just what the crazy gossip media vultures have "created," because if we don't, our souls die:

"Even then it doesn't mean that there was some kind of dastardly affair. There wasn't. I'm very proud of the way that it was handled. It was respectful."

"Listen, man, Jen is a sweetheart. I think she got dragged into that one, and then there's a second round to all that Angie versus Jen. It's so created," he claims.
