There's nothing like Web 2.0 for finding intimate details about almost-strangers. Did you just get back from meeting someone whose last name you had to pretend to ask for casually, and now you want to scour all available info on their personal life? Maybe you chatted up a handsome somebody at a party. Is he a serial killer? Does he pose for hipster porn? Or, worst of all, does he have a super-hot ex-girlfriend? Well, if your crush is up with the latest social networking sites, you're in luck. These will surely satisfy your craving for stalking.
10. Facebook
Yes, this is the obvious one. Chances are you won't be able to view your crush's profile without friending him, but you can still stare at his photo, his networks, and be content in the fact that he's human enough to exist on Facebook. Because anyone who doesn't these days is just weird.
9. Google
Okay, Google is hardly a social network, but it is a stalker's best friend. Plus, it's not even that creepy to slip into conversation the next time you and your crush chat that you may or may not have Googled him. Okay, it's still a little creepy. Probably your search will just turn up the web page of his college badminton team, but if you're really lucky you'll get the awful, angsty poetry he published at that online literary journal.

Nothing satisfies your stalking thirst like reading minute-by-minute updates of what your crush is doing each day. OMG he's eating breakfast! OMG he sat next to a crazy homeless guy on the commuter bus! OMG he posts funny links. Isn't he dreamy?
7. Wordpress
Again, Wordpress isn't so much a site as a jackpot waiting to be discovered. Specifically, it's blogging software. If your beau-to-be has a blog and you find it, you're in good. Yes, you're a little sad for reading posts that date back to 2006. No, I won't judge you for scanning for references to other women.
6. Flickr
Photos, photos, and more photos! Access to a Flickr account -- and most of them are public -- gives you tons of images of your crush being goofy with friends or traveling the world to admire and scrutinize. Look, he takes artsy pictures of flowers: pro. Look, he gets drunk on Bud Light too often with girls in tons of eyeliner: con.
