All these years, you've been using the internetz to look at photos of cats, connect with old friends and get high scores on Bejeweled. Everybody knows it's good for all of those things. But did you know it's also good for teh hot subversive sexin? Seriously, can you believe nobody told us until now?Yes, the BBC is gonna turn your world upside down with the results of an EverQuest survey conducted by Sony and the University of Delaware: "It found that the most hard-core players are female, that gamers are healthier than average, and that game playing is an increasingly social activity." AHHH head 'splodin! Girls like games and aren't fat, sweaty dudes who live in their mothers' basements? Oh but dear readers, there is more:
The pressure to conform to traditional gender roles might mean that some women are put off activities seen as "masculine", whereas women who reject traditional gender roles might be more likely to play MMOs such as EverQuest II. Perhaps in support of this the survey revealed an unusually high level of bisexuality among the women who took part in the study - over five times higher than the general population.
So if you've been crawling the meat market bars looking for some hot bi chick action, maybe you're looking in the wrong places. Get thyself to an MMO, sexy seeker! Or not--there's plenty of skepticism out there given the online nature of the report. Just 'cause someone digs guys and gals online doesn't necessarily mean he or she practices it IRL. Oh, inconclusive surveys. How you tease.

Not to mention I suspect - sight unseen, admittedly - that a lot of this surveying was done by the researches stopping random elf babes and asking three questions.
1. Are you really a chick?
2. Do you look like your character?
3. Do you like other chicks?
Conclusion: Most "women" on MMORPG's are physically fit and like girls!
