Thank you, thank you, thank you, ScienceDaily. I have been looking for a reason to post Chris De Burgh's Lady In Red on this blog for months. We have such a lack of synth, even with all those '80s posts.
Yes, the sex appeal of the color red is now scientifically proven, people. According to SD, as I like to call it when I'm hangin' out in my lab coat reading psych studies, women wearing red are perceived as being more sexually attractive. Well?
I'm glad this study came out when it did. I've been agonizing over what to wear this weekend. I'm going to one of those peripheral friend-weddings where you're gonna see people you haven't talked to in five years. Look out, Fort Worth, TX: this lady's gonna be in red.

What the article doesn't seem to say is why it is that red works, but I guess if it works, it works!
