My Little Pony goes punk for a good cause

I can't be the only twenty-something who still swoons at the sight of a My Little Pony. Maybe it was the plastic ponies I used to have as a little kid that make my heart melt. Or maybe it was the full-length musical movie that came out when I was two. Yes, I still know all the words to all the songs and will start dancing like a fool when I hear them. So what?

I also can't be the only Heartless Doll who swoons all over again at the site of these professionally dolled up Little Ponies, which are being auctioned off for charity. According to our sister site Topless Robot, the profits from these 18-inch, custom-made horsies will go to sick kids in Florida. Each one has been designed by a particular artist or celebrity. David Arquette and Courteney Cox's pony looks like they decorated it in five minutes with nail polish.

Some of the other are damn impressive, though -- and a lot less dark than these deviant My Little Ponies. Personally I want the one with the angelic face and the arrows shot into his adorable behind. Pretty, pretty please, universe? Pretty, pretty please?

Oh indeed, you're not the only swooning Doll. I think I probably had hundreds of MLP's when I was a kiddo, and the reason I loved them was their fun colors ... this is like, colors on crack. Do want.
