Since when is running around kicking ass in a virtual world more desirable than laying in a nice, fluffy bed in the real one? Since now! According to PoshMama.com ("The Hip Hangout For Haute Mamas exclamation point") of 120 women surveyed, 71 percent said they were avid gamers, and of that 71 percent, more than a third would rather play video games than get some extra ZZZ's.
Which basically means that the website proved that 28 women in the entire world prefer to play video games instead of sleep. Stop the presses, yeah? And slightly more than half of the "respondents" say that video gaming has made them late to dates with friends and family. But does "respondents" mean 71 percent of 120, or the 120 total women who took the survey? We're talking about a difference of 34.8 women, here, people! How will we ever know the truth? Swoon.
I asked gamer girl extraordinaire and fellow Doll Bonnie Ruberg to weigh on her own video-gaming related priorities, just to see if we could draw any conclusions. Me? Well, it's been about 15 years since I picked up a game controller, and that's unlikely to change anytime soon. Here, I give you HD's exhaustive survey of two women.
Andrea:
1. Sleeping
2. Having sex
3. Drinking
4. Shoe shopping
5. Exercising
6. Watching Gossip Girl
7. Watching paint dry
8. Playing video games

There you have it, folks. According to the HD labs, 100 percent of women love sleepin' and sleepin' with.

I'm so glad someone else agrees with me that sleep comes before all.
