Too early to be Twilight ... it's Breaking Dawn.

Late last week, at the behest of my other HD'ers and a media frenzy that was hotter than Jacob Black's at-rest body temperature, I picked up Twilight for the first time. I'd never even heard of these stupidly chaste teenage vampire novels, but I spent this past weekend buying the next, and the next and finally, the last, installments.
So now I'm able to keep up with the frenzy, despite the fact that I feel so dirty that an eternal shower couldn't cure me. I'm going to have to donate to Planned Parenthood, march in a Take Back The Night rally and not shave my armpits for months to make up for enjoying this pseudo-literary crime against feminism. But since you guys are still frothing over Megan's excellent Team Jacob: Top 10 Reasons Why The Twilight Series' Jacob Would Make a Better Boyfriend Than Edward, I figured I'd hook you up with the just-released second part of an interview between Stephenie Meyer and MTV.com.
Questions MTV.com asked Ms Meyer:
"You've spoken about times when you had to stand up to your agents and publishers for integrity. Could you tell us about one?"
"When you first conceived the Twilight series, did you have the entire thing in your head? Or has the audience response helped change it over the years?"
"Is it going to be hard to walk away from Twilight?"
Questions I would have asked Ms Meyer:
"Did it ever occur to you that Edward is a controlling prick who bullied Bella into an abusive relationship wherein she was not allowed to see her best friends?"
"Why does Charlie love to watch sports so freaking much? Is there another plot device you could have used to get him out of the way, just once?"
"Any way we can get a supplement that includes more description of Jacob's clothes ripping off as he phases? Rawr."

I don't want to write any more stupid answer here... But I really, really want to know how many time did you spend reading Twilight... 'Cause your questions are really useless and wrong...
"Did it ever occur to you that Edward is a controlling prick who bullied Bella into an abusive relationship wherein she was not allowed to see her best friends?"
I think you did not read the book 'cause is BELLA, always BELLA, who wants to spend more time with Edward, C'MON, I read the first trhee books in 8-9 hours and I understand more than you, how can be this possible?!
Ok, I'll think you make this questions for fun, but you make me explote!
Posted 08/06/2008 at 12:41:11 AMI see what you mean, Gabriel, I do. I don't doubt the fact that Bella desperately wanted to be with Edward. But I also get the creeps from a couple of Edward's more controlling behaviors wherein he decides he knows what's best for her. For example, forcing her to go to prom, having Alice kidnap her, driving her around because she's too "weak." Abuser warning signs, all of them.
Am I overreacting?
Posted 08/06/2008 at 07:31:48 AMYes, 'cause Jacob can be more controlling than Edward =S, it's just Bella doesn't want to be controlled by Jacob, you know, Jacob can be really egoist sometimes, and self-centered too... Eclipse is a sample of that =__=... I would like to say this to you eith a better explanation, but my english isn't too good =(...
Posted 08/06/2008 at 09:45:58 PMStephanie Meyer completely manipulated Jacob's character because she herself is obsessed with Edward. Bella had to end up with Edward because Meyer is in love with him. In the process, she destroyed the only two engaging main characters: Jacob and Bella when she's with Jacob.
