I'm so psyched for Halloween I'm willing to say "innards"

Want to really spook the neighborhood trick-or-treaters this season? Spend $2,000-plus for an animatronic zombie that chases them across the lawn while crazily muttering," Hungry, hungry, hungry" and dragging its own innards behind it. Yes, I said "innards." I am that psyched for Halloween.

Sure, it's only August, and Halloween is more than two and a half months away. And sure, it's the same trick companies selling you holiday-related junk pull for every Christmas, Valentine's Day and Easter. But come on, this is Halloween we're talking about. Whereas I always feel a little dirty seeing red and green decorations up the day after Thanksgiving, my heart skipped a beat just spotting orange and black paper plates in a Ross the other day. We're talking a holiday where it's acceptable -- heck, it's recommended -- to dress like a total tart. I love it.

As for this animatronic zombie, it's four feet long, which is a pretty decent size for someone with no legs. I can see being utterly terrified of that as a child. Though, if it's that hungry, I may just try feeding it some of my crappier candy and hopping it goes off to choke on a Tootsie Roll Pop.
