Coming together for International Orgasm Day

Yes, it's another exciting, sexy, vaguely nonsense but still fun holiday. On Wednesday we celebrated National Underwear Day. Today we get to celebrate National Orgasm Day. We're resisting the urge to substitute lots of inappropriate "oohs" and "mmms" for a simple "hooray!"
According to The Naughty American, International Orgasm Day, now in its tenth year, is "a day where citizens come together to come." The idea, says Alex Hirka (i.e. the guy who decided the world needed an Orgasm Day), is like "when armies walk across bridges, they usually break step because if you walk in step, you apply that much more force... That got me to thinking, ‘If you exerted positive energy at the same time, could that have an effect?’”
Wow, Alex, that's a bit deep -- and a bit unlikely -- for us. We were just psyched to have an excuse to spend all day in bed. Amusingly, the idea is so far out there that Arthur C. Clarke, the author or 2001: A Space Odyssey, wrote to Kirka after the first Orgasm Day to say he'd thought it up for a short story he'd written in 1948 where everyone has to come at once to save humanity... or something.
So yeah, save humanity. Take an orgasm for the team today
