Coexisting with dinosaurs: fun for the whole family

If you happen to be traveling through Kentucky anytime soon, consider pulling over the road-trip-mobile at the Creation Museum, the natural history museum that refutes all scientific natural history. It has animatronic dinosaurs positioned next to animatronic people, to prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that humans and giant reptiles co-existed in peace. At only $28 a head to get through the door ($7.50 extra to see the "Let It Rain" Noak's Ark-inspired live concert), it's apparently a creationist's family outing dream come true.
Joanna Ebenstein, who writes the excellent blog Morbid Anatomy, recently stopped by the Creation Museum herself. She describes it as "an amazing, if angering and perplexing, spectacle" where God and goodness battles Darwinism and evil with pseudo-education. Her photos reveal disturbingly official exhibits, like one entitled "God's word is the key to past, present, and future," which features a chart of evolution explained.
This is one girl who can think of better places to spend her $28!
